The Roll & Marks
Standing
The Roll ranks Wardens by Standing, computed continuously and public at all times:
| You hold | Standing each |
|---|---|
| Acre | 5 |
| Folk | 1 |
| 10 Coin | 1 |
| 20 Grain | 1 |
| Levy | 2 |
| Rider | 6 |
| Enginery | 8 |
| Ironclad | 20 |
Land is weighted heaviest per unit of anything you can hold. This is a game about land, and the formula says so. You always know who is winning; the question is what the Fold decides to do about it.
The Reckoning
At the season's end the Fold settles: marches return, upkeep lands, the Roll freezes, ranks are final. Ties break by Acres.
Marks
Roughly the top third of the Roll is paid, falling off steeply — winning matters more than placing:
| Scale | Payouts by rank |
|---|---|
| Duel | 10 / 2 |
| Skirmish | 15 / 8 / 4 |
| Standard | 25 / 15 / 10 / 6 / 4 / 2 |
| Grand Fold | 40 / 25 / 15 / 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 4 / 2 / 2 |
Shades are skipped — payouts pass down to the next human, and the curve itself is set by how many humans mustered. Marks land on your account, good in every Fold you ever join. Winning dresses you; being dressed says you win.
