The Fold Market
Each Fold shares one market. It trades Grain for Coin in both directions. Orders fill instantly at the current price, at 1 Watch per order. Then your volume moves the price for everyone. The price drifts between 0.25 and 1.0 Coin per Grain, around a base of 0.5. Heavy buying raises it. A Fold at war is a Fold with expensive bread.
The market keeps names out of it. Prices are public. Order books are not. But a spike tells its own story.
The Quiet Trade
The Quiet Trade is the black market. Better prices, real risk, 1 Watch per deal:
- Sell Grain at +50% over market.
- Buy at −25% under.
- Every deal carries a 15% risk of seizure. You lose the shipment, whichever way it was headed, and get nothing.
- A third of seizures are public. The whole Fold learns you deal in the dark.
Quiet Trade volume never moves the Fold Market's price. The bold eat well. The unlucky get famous.
